My Goal

So… It is January 1, 2009 and I am totally ready to lose some weight! I did some thingies online today and found out that I am overweight!

Oh My GOD! I am overweight! That is the first time I have ever heard that in my life! The big reveal of all my numbers and statistics will not be until Tuesday, January 6, but I am gonna talk about my goals right now.

I really want to lose 10 pounds. I will then be at my pre-pregnancy weight! I only gained about 30 pounds when I was pregnant with Kendall, and the first 20 just fell right off. Mostly before I made it out of the hospital! I do not think it is unreasonable to lose 20 pounds in the next 12 weeks. That is around 2 pounds a week. That is healthy… Right?

So I am going to eat healthier with Kevin and do yoga atleast 2 times per week. I used to do yoga every night. I couldnt sleep if I didnt do it. I loved it and I was only 130 pounds. I looked good and felt good. It really isnt reasonable to be back to 130 pounds… I was only 20 years old then. Hahaha. 

We are also going to walk as many nights as long it is not freezing outside. I think that will be good to start. I have not really been too active for the past 6 months. Once I found out I had cardiomyopathy I kinda decided to not do too much.

So there we have it.. Eating healthier, doing yoga atleast 2 nights a week and walking when it isnt freezing. I hope you all keep me accountable for my goals. Kevin said he is going to do the same goals…

Keep checking back as I prepare to go on a diet. At my job we are having a competition for losing weight. I have a goal of 2 lbs per week for the 12 weeks that the competition goes on. I will record my ups and downs in this adventure.
